Our Story

"We are a diverse group of advanced clinicians united by our belief in communication as a

basic human right"

Our History

Autism and Brain Institute (ABI) was founded with the goal of providing high quality care to children with complex needs. Our founder, a Speech Language Pathologist, always knew that she wanted to dedicate her life's work to helping the complex needs population.

She saw the need for an AAC-focused practice while making sure to focus on a more holistic approach to care for our most vulnerable population.

ABI was born out of the desire to provide quality care to the our severe to profound children. We strive to bring you both evidence-based and family-centered therapy.

Our history is one of dedication and commitment to giving every child the opportunity to thrive.

Our Purpose

Our Purpose is simple yet so powerful. Everyday we come to work with children who have no voice.

Our purpose is to bring communication in any form to your child as to assure true human connection. Every person should have the right to exchange not only just wants and needs, but emotions, likes and dislike, comment on the world around them, tell stories.

This is our Purpose.

We are dedicated to making sure that every child feels seen, heard, and understood.

Our Commitment

At Autism and Brain Institute (ABI), we are dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients and their families. We are also committed to supporting our team members and therapists in their efforts to provide the most up-to-date and evidence based care possible.

Our Founder is a board member on multiple committees and has created monthly podcasts to spread the word about the importance of holistic care for complex needs individuals.

This commitment is evident in everything we do, from our dedication to education and training for our therapists to providing the best possible care for our patients.

We believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
